He was mercilessly beaten, electrocuted and subjected to unimaginable cruelties. Bapu Ji was given constant threats that his sons would be killed if he didn't cooperate. Despite the excruciating pain, he remained steadfast, refusing to disclose any information about his beloved son. The emotional scars haunt him, impacting his hearing, vision and mobility.

The heart-wrenching saga took a darker turn when one of Bhai Jhander's brothers, tormented by the relentless persecution, tragically took his own life. Their home was perpetually surrounded by police, leaving them distressed and vulnerable.

Today, Bapu Karam Singh grapples with the profound loss of his shaheed son Bhai Kashmir Singh Jhander and other family members, carrying the scars of unimaginable anguish inflicted by Indian authorities.
