Barclays Northampton Campus employees “Say No To Poverty” Appeal

The places where people live and the circumstances into which they are born have a fundamental effect on life chances. Please help us raise vital funds to give residents of Northamptonshire the opportunity to thrive. ‘Say No To Poverty’.

We are a grant-making charity, awarding much-needed grants across the county to create safer, stronger communities. Projects we fund include breakfast clubs, peer support groups for people living with disabilities, activities for older people, youth clubs, sporting activities and so much more.

Story

The UK is one of the wealthiest nations in the world, yet poverty statistics are shocking, including within the county of Northamptonshire. Barclays colleagues are coming together to raise money for those charities and organisations which support the most vulnerable residents in Northamptonshire. Hardship and poverty can mean different things to different people – for some it means they cannot afford food and clothing for themselves and their family, or access to basic amenities which most of us take for granted. For others it may mean they have no safe or warm place to sleep every night.

Through their “Say No To Poverty” appeal, Barclays colleagues are joining forces in an act of solidarity to help raise awareness and change lives through a number of fundraising events.
