Barney is a lovely old boy who came to us with two very large fatty masses, one on his chest the size of a small watermelon and one by his back legs as big as a couple of oranges.

It has been very uncomfortable for him and particularly heavy on his chest, adding over 2kg to his weight.

Having consulted a couple of internal medicine speciaist surgeons, we all agreed that the risk during the surgery given his heart and blood results were moderately low and the discomfort he was in justified going in for surgery.

Barney had the surgery already as he was admitted immediately after his second consultation and we now need to raise the funds to cover the very large bill. He is doing really well post surgery. A lovely family agreed to give him a wonderful home as we were in the process of organising the surgery when they met him and he is now recovering at home with them.
