Story
Here at St Luke's Lunch we want to fill a hunger gap, increase social connections and provide a space for children to explore, create and have fun.
We're looking to brighten Christmas for low income families struggling to cope with the rising costs of living, our project aims to help those families hardest hit by this. Lawrence Hill is within the UK's 10% most deprived, over half the children are classed as living in poverty.
Throughout the year we provide regular family food hampers, have food preparation/cooking sessions and have lots of fun with games and crafts. At our after school and school holiday sessions, children and their parents can explore, play, create and make new friends.
This winter the families have asked to go to the pantomime, but first we are going to fill our tummies with delicious party food, have a special visit from Santa and then hop on a coach to the theatre.
Can you help us buy some treats this winter for the children and their parents?
Our presents have been guided by our families. This year they have asked for a supermarket voucher so they can stock up on food for the Christmas period when many services are closed.
Santa will give a selection box to the children and a gift voucher for the family to spend on food.
Please donate today to ensure we can fill Santa's sleigh!
