Story

Every child deserves the chance to grow up healthy, active, and proud of their world.

At Barton Moss Community Primary School, over half of our 218 children are from disadvantaged backgrounds. Many face daily challenges that make it harder to access the same opportunities as others. But we believe every child can thrive if they are given the right environment to learn, play, and grow.

That’s why we’re raising funds to improve our Outdoor Education environment.

With your support, we’ll:

*Introduce proper recycling in school — teaching children to reduce waste and care for the planet

*Promote healthier living by encouraging fresh, less processed snacks

*Improve our sensory garden and forest school so children with additional needs have safe, stimulating spaces to explore

*Add plants, trees, and tools to make our outdoor areas places of discovery, activity, and wellbeing

We’re asking for £1,000 to buy:

*Recycling bins

*Plants and trees

*Gardening equipment and tools

This project is about more than outdoor learning. It’s about:

*Helping children understand their impact on the planet

*Teaching responsibility and sustainability from a young age

*Promoting physical and mental wellbeing through nature

Giving disadvantaged children experiences that will shape their future choices. Because when children learn to care for their world, they grow into adults who change it for the better.

👉 Please donate today and help us give Barton Moss children a greener, healthier, and more sustainable future.
