Story

Help Bart Heal and Find the Loving Home He Deserves

Meet Bart – a brave lad with a huge heart who’s been through so much already.

Bart came to us from a multi-dog household, where he sadly hadn’t had the care he needed. From the moment he arrived, we could see he was struggling. He had a severely deformed front paw and leg, a birth defect that had become increasingly painful and uncomfortable.

Despite it all, Bart remained gentle, affectionate, and full of character. But it was clear he was in pain, and after examining him, our vets confirmed that the kindest and only option was to undergo urgent surgery to amputate his leg.

Thankfully, Bart came through it like the little star he is. He’s now coping well, learning how to get around on three legs, and enjoying life without the constant pain that held him back.

The cost of his surgery and post-op care came to over £2000, which is a huge expense for our self-funded branch. This is where we need your help!

Can you support Bart’s recovery?

Every donation, no matter how big or small, will help us cover the cost of Bart’s surgery and ensure we can continue helping other animals in need.

Bart is now recovering beautifully and is now looking for his forever home. This sweet, resilient boy deserves a future full of comfort, kindness, and love.

Thank you so much for reading, sharing, and supporting.

With your help, we can give Bart the future he truly deserves 💛

Thank you again, from all of us and Bart 🐶

If we’re lucky enough to raise more than the £2,000 needed for Bart’s surgery and recovery, any extra donations will go towards helping more animals in need in our care. Every contribution truly helps!
