Hi, I am Amrit Mistry, a member of the Rotary Club of the Deepings, reaching out to you for your help in raising much-needed funds for Marie Curie and St Barnabas Hospice. These two organisations combined and worked with us to give my mum the help and support she needed in her final days. Both of these organisations depend mainly on donations to do their work.

I will be flying to Nepal on the 18th March 2022 and am embarking on a trek to Everest Basecamp to raise funds for these charities. We will be hiking to an altitude of 5,364m, starting on 22nd March, giving me a few days to prepare before beginning the expedition! The trek to Base Camp will take place over the course of 23 days, and I have never attempted something like this before, so it will be a challenge for me. I am going with Boundless Himalayas, an established trekking company.

None of the funds will be going towards my expenses. The net funds raised will be divided equally between the two charities helping them continue providing care and support to individuals in need and their families.
