Motor Neurone Disease can affect anyone at any time and it affects up to 5,000 adults in the UK at any one time. Its a disease that attacks the nerves that control movement so muscles no longer work and sadly, is a fatal, rapidly progressing disease for which there is currently no cure.

The Motor Neurone Disease Association (MND Association) focuses on improving access to care, research and campaigning for those people living with or affected by motor neurone disease (MND) in England, Wales and Northern Ireland.
