Meet Beau, a vibrant and spirited 6-year-old from St Albans, Hertfordshire, who brings joy and inspiration to everyone around him. Despite living with 4 limb cerebral palsy, meconium aspiration syndrome, underlying epilepsy ,dyskinesia and developmental delay Beau’s bright and beautiful nature shines through every day. He may face challenges with walking and speaking, but these do not define his incredible spirit and determination. He is an absolute joy and hilariously funny.

Beau is full of life, always laughing, loves jokes and silliness, knows exactly what he wants, and absolutely loves for cars. He dreams of driving himself one day, and with the right support, we believe he can achieve this and many of the usual dreams that all typical children have and take for granted. His journey so far has been one of resilience and high spirited determination. Having overcome a traumatic birth and various health challenges in his early years he has developed in the most inspiring and brilliant ways. His unwavering determination and sunny disposition have seen him through numerous treatments and therapies, responding with remarkable and hugely encouraging progress each time.

Beau's journey is a testament to his own resilience but also to advancements in medical science, offering therapies and equipment that foster significant brain development to help him overcome huge barriers. However, to continue accessing these life-changing opportunities, we need your support. Our NHS, stretched as it is, cannot cover these vital treatments, and so we must turn to private providers, which is a financial challenge for us.
