Every Morning Matters
Every day of the year, Chichester HEART for Homeless opens its doors at St Pancras Church Hall to welcome people who are homeless and vulnerable. Guests are offered a hot, cooked breakfast, but more importantly, they are met with warmth, dignity, and human connection.
Since 2020, HEART has provided a consistent, safe space seven days a week, giving guests a sense of routine and belonging in lives often marked by instability and isolation.
One of our guests shared,
“This place is so friendly and different to other places. It's helped me through a really hard time in my life. It's been a rock in my life. It's been a rock in my life, knowing I can get something to eat if I really need it.”
HEART’s volunteers go beyond serving food. They build relationships, offer encouragement, and provide practical support — from clothing and toiletries to help accessing accommodation and specialist services. In addition to this, seasonal events, like Christmas lunches and carol services, give guests moments of joy and inclusion.
“...this carol service has moved me. It’s beautiful. Thank you!”
In 2025, HEART served 7,931 breakfasts, averaging 25 guests per day, and remains the only charity in Chichester providing a hot breakfast every single day of the week.
Your support helps HEART keep its doors open, serving meals, friendship, and hope every morning.
Thank you for hosting a Big Breakfast 2026!
