Following the success of our team in the Great Bristol Run 2023, Baby Bank Network Bristol has a team of six supporters and staff taking part in the Great Bristol Run this year to raise vital funds to help families in Bristol with essential items for their babies and children.

Baby Bank Network Bristol redistributes pre-loved items for babies and children for families across Bristol and surrounding areas who are experiencing poverty or crisis. We also provide new items such as mattresses, nappies and toiletries. We believe that no family should have to go without the necessities for their children.

Local referral partners (health visitors, social workers, and other statutory and voluntary agencies) apply to Baby Bank Network on the family's behalf, collect and deliver the items to the families. We rely on donations of pre-loved goods and monetary donations to continue to support families and we are largely sustained by our amazing volunteers.

Since Baby Bank Network was founded in 2015 to January 2023, we have redistributed over 26,000 items to over 6,500 families. Between April 2022 and March 2023, we’ve helped 1586 families with 5477 items redistributed, and we expect this to grow year on year.

96% of the families who have received support from us either agree or strongly agree that Baby Bank Network items have made them worry less about money. Our services reduce the financial burden on families and can help lead to an improvement in mental well-being, lower anxiety, and increased ability to focus on other aspects of home life.

On the 19th of May 2024 our team will be taking part in the Great Bristol Run, running a 10k or half marathon. Please help spur them over the finish line by making a donation!
