Story
In Bromley, thousands of children wake up each day facing challenges most of us never see. Some arrive at school hungry. Some struggle with confidence, isolation, or difficult circumstances at home. Some families feel lost, unsure where to turn for help.
At BCFForum, we believe no child or family should face those challenges alone. That’s why we bring together more than 250 local charities, community groups, and support organisations each one doing incredible work, but even stronger when connected. Together, we create a safety net that reaches across the entire borough.
Every year, we see the difference this makes.
A young person who had stopped engaging at school suddenly finds direction through a mentor.
A family on the brink of crisis discovers support through one of our Parent/Carer Champions.
A child who would have gone hungry during the holidays instead enjoys a warm meal and a day of fun at our HAF camps.
But the need continues to grow. 7,320 children in Bromley rely on free school meals, and this year we were able to provide 3,262 hot meals through HAF meals that mattered, meals that kept children nourished, active, and smiling. And yet, thousands more still need us.
This is why we’re asking for your help.
Your donation isn’t just a contribution it’s a lifeline. It helps us keep programmes running, support more families, and close the gap so no child is left without the basics. With your support, we can reach further, respond faster, and ensure every child in Bromley has the chance to feel safe, supported, and hopeful.
Together, we can change what tomorrow looks like for a child who needs it.
