On the outside, I smiled and was the person all my friends turned to when they were having issues and struggling with life. On the inside, however, I was broken and felt so alone, scared, and confused. I wished every day that someone would ask, Are you okay? I'm not sure what I would have done with that but at least I would know that someone cared. Kylie
You can be the light for a young person, just like Kylie, who has experienced abuse and needs a safe place to share their story. Somewhere they will be believed, with a team of professionals to guide them with care and compassion through the disclosure, investigation, and judicial process. Somewhere they can get the help they need to heal and find hope for a brighter future.

Last year alone, more than 2,700 children, youth and their families were supported by Luna's team of experts from health, children's services, law enforcement, justice and victim services, all working together under one roof to ensure that young people who have experienced abuse are cared for through every stage of their healing journey.
By supporting Luna today, you will help ensure that every child who comes to the Luna Centre has access to critical programs and services, including comprehensive victim support, remote testimony rooms, response to emergency needs, support from facility dogs, therapeutic aids, and access to a Child Life Specialist who makes sure children feel safe and supported during their visit.
Child abuse can have devastating and long-lasting effects but, together, we can ensure that children and families have the best chance for healing, now and for a lifetime.
