Your donation to the RMH Foundation will help improve access to breast cancer screenings by purchasing additional mammography equipment in the Sentara RMH Funkhouser Womens Center. This newly expanded capacity will help ensure patients can be seen quicker for screening and diagnostic exams.

Any time a patient is told she has to come back for a diagnostic screening to determine whether or not she has cancer, the wait can be excruciating. By expediting this process, we are reducing the fearful time spent waiting by the patient and family and we are ensuring patients with cancer can start treatment sooner.
