The 3rd Battalion the Royal Welsh will be "Growing A Beard For April" as part of a light hearted take on the new Army policy, but also to raise much needed funds to Support Veterans and their families of the Royal Welsh when in need.
The competition starts on April 1st (no not an April fools joke) and runs through to the 30th of April with the commanding officer and RSM judging the best and worst beards.
Veterans and friends of the regiment are more than welcome to join in, as any money raised will go back to supporting veterans when they most need our support.
