St Michael and All Angels Church is Church of England Parish Church in Tettenhall, Wolverhampton in the Diocese of Lichfield. We offer worship, learning, living and sharing the Christian faith. The beautiful Grade II* listed building radiates a sense of God's presence. It is the home of a regular worshiping community and closely linked with local primary and secondary school communities who worship here. We worship, share fellowship, grow in faith, and put our faith into practice, working in partnership with others for the common good of our community and city. People from many ethnic groups and different walks of life worship here. Many local people have valued connections through baptism and confirmation, family weddings and funerals. We support local, national and international charities. St Michael's is part of the Tettenhall Regis Team with Christ the King, Aldersley, St Paul's, Pendeford and Holy Cross Bilbrook. We work together in various ways including the Encounter Youth Group. Sunday worship is 8am Holy Communion, 10.30am Sung Service of Holy Communion and 6.30pm Evening Prayer or monthly Choral Evensong. A Sunday School for primary age children accompanies the 10.30am Service.

Story

We are celebrating the 70th Anniversary of the unique Grade 2* listed building this year. In the 1950s, the wonderful efforts of church and community raised Beauty from the Ashes of the Medieval Church.

The fantastic ongoing work of the church, worshiping, supporting people, schools and the wider community and nurturing faith is costly (about £3000 a week). We need your generous help to sustain the presence and work of the church now and in the future.
