Poor beautiful ROSE was found on the streets by Dora.

Unfortunately she had been severely attacked by other dogs and was left badly injured and she sustained a ruptured Achilles' tendon. She will need surgery to her leg.

It's probably too bad to be fixed so really the only option is an orthopaedic operation to give some structure to her leg.

It's a complicated and costly procedure at around £2,500 but we need to get it done because it has already affected more than just the leg but her hip and back too have been out of line and shes twisted when she walks due to her not using the leg very well for a while.

BEFORE the surgery ROSE will need x-rays and an assessment of any injury to the underside of her leg. She will also need a course of prophylactic antibiotics prior to the surgery. It's really important that we raise £235 quickly so that the treatment can get underway at once. ROSE is booked in for surgery in early June.
