Visit the charity's profileWe all know the devastating impact that Coronavirus is having on the UK right now. It is vital that we stay home in order to save lives and protect the NHS. This has meant the cancellation of many social gatherings, holidays, and charity fundraising events. UK charities will be some of the most affected and hardest hit as they are estimated to lose over £4 billion of income this year.
The Kensington and Chelsea Foundation has supported disadvantaged and vulnerable residents of the borough since 2008. The current Coronavirus pandemic has not stopped the charity from supporting those who need them most; but they need your help too.
The impact on local projects and partners is significant and growing. Not only is fundraising income lost through cancellation of events, but many scheduled group activities are now being replaced with more expensive one to one services such as home visits. 6 distribution centres have been set up across the borough by a partnership of voluntary sector organisations to take donations of food and essential supplies, which will be sent out as care packages to those in most need.
Sunday 26 April should have seen thousands of runners, taking to the streets of London to complete the 40th Virgin Money London Marathon. Sadly, due to Coronavirus, this has been postponed. Instead, this Sunday, along with the rest of the nation, we will be taking part in the #TwoPointSixChallenge.
Be Fearsome have very kindly offered to run a specially designed class to mark the occasion for supporters of The Kensington and Chelsea Foundation. Joining us couldn't be simpler though it may just leave you breathless.
26 exercises, 26 repetitions, 26 minutes.
The class will be live streamed on the Be Fearsome Facebook page at 9.45am on Sunday 26 April or you can use the link below to register for the Zoom link.

We really hope you'll join us in the class and that you will consider donating to our emergency Covid-19 Appeal. We have launched our Appeal, to support local partners as they aim to meet the needs of the most vulnerable in our community during the pandemic and as they rebuild services over the longer-term.
Whether you donate £2.60 or £26, your donation will go towards providing critical support to the most vulnerable in our community today.
Thank you so much for your support and we hope you are all staying safe and well in this very difficult time.
