A massive explosion has rocked Beirut, the capital of Lebanon. It is feared that hundreds of people have been killed and thousands injured, in what has been described as one of the worst disasters the country has ever seen.

The source of the catastrophe is yet unknown, but officials are working hard to find the cause of the disaster. The he city has been thrown into mass confusion in the aftermath of the massive blast that has been felt as far afield as Cyprus.
Salam Charity is on the ground with our partners in Lebanon, to provide much needed food, healthcare and shelters for those who have been affected. We will be offering medical attention to people on ground zero, by providing trained doctors and nurses who will administer first aid and primary healthcare.
