Belmullet to Northampton Cycle 2026

Over five days from the 10–14th of August 2026, our team will take on an incredible 700km cycling challenge. They'll travel from the west coast of Ireland all the way back to Northampton - where every penny they raise will support local people.

Story

Starting in Belmullet, a remote coastal town on Ireland’s rugged Atlantic edge, Day 1 will see the team cycle across the Irish countryside to Roscommon, a historic market town in the heart of Ireland. On Day 2, the riders will continue east towards Dublin, Ireland’s vibrant capital, settling near the port ahead of the next stage of the journey. Day 3 begins with a ferry crossing across the Irish Sea to Wales, marking the start of the UK leg of the challenge, before a shorter ride to Bangor, a scenic coastal city near Snowdonia. On Day 4, the team will cross the Welsh border into England, travelling onwards to Stone, a picturesque canal-side market town in Staffordshire. Finally, on Day 5, the group will complete the last stretch to Northampton, crossing the finish line at The Swan & Helmet in our town centre.

Whether you're riding, cheering from the sidelines, or donating - your support matters. We can't thank you enough for deciding to be part of this extraordinary journey🚴💛
