As we have found our defibrillators in the centre of town being highly utilised, we have had discussions and decided there's a lack of these in other areas of the town.
With the way Tranent is expanding, we're aiming to raise funds for the purchase and installation of a defibrillator and locker in the South area of the town.
These units, along with the locker (which needs planning permission to be sited somewhere accessible) costs upwards of £1500. We're hoping that you can support us in raising money towards the purchase, planning and installation.
Our walk this year is on the 21st September and the route this year will start and finish at the Co-operative Bowling Club in Tranent to Macmerry, to St Germain's level crossing and returning back to the Co-operative Bowling Club for a few light refreshments and some snacks.
Anyone wishing to join us on the day is more than welcome.
Thanks
