Story

The Good Food Shop in Keighley is a project run in partnership with The Parish of Keighley and are part of the Food Savers Network.

They operate like a “Social Supermarket” stocked with food and toiletries gained from various sources. With their main ethos being to alleviate poverty in Keighley and surrounding areas and to prevent food waste.

The Good Food Shop are Bradford Festival Choral Society's chosen beneficiary of their collection for the FREE concert in Cliffe Castle as part of the Music at the Museum Series.

We will be singing selected choruses from Mendelssohn’s powerful oratorio Elijah, conducted by our Assistant Musical Director Christopher Pulleyn, accompanied by Jenny Martins, and with accomplished baritone Jonny Hill singing the part of Elijah.

The performance will last approximiately 1 hour.
