The Big Birmingham Readathon is BACK for 2025!

Hettie the Birmingham Hospice Hedgehog is looking for children across Birmingham to take part in a reading challenge whilst supporting your local hospice.

This is the perfect challenge to keep your kids busy this summer and raise vital funds for local hospice care.  There are 4 challenges to choose from: Oak – 5 books, Pine – 10 books, Maple – 15 books, and Willow – 20 books!

It’s easy for your child to take part:

Choose which level you want to take on: 5, 10, 15 or 20 books   

Get sponsored to read throughout August  

Receive a FREE bookmark with your first donation and a medal from Hettie when you raise £100!  

The Big Birmingham Readathon is open to children of all ages, reading books of any length – either by themselves or with a grown-up’s support.
