The campaign has now expired but it's not too late to support this charity.
Visit the charity's profileJoin us on Friday 18 March 2022 for the Big Exeter Sleep-Out 2022; we are calling all the community tosleep-outfor one night in the heart of the City at Exeter City Football Club (St James Park Stadium). If sleeping in the Stadium is not for you, please join by sleeping in your garden and still be part of the big event. All the proceeds raised will create vital funds and awareness for people forced to sleep rough in the streets.
The on-going and long-term impact of the Coronavirus has had a devastating effect on people we support and how we support them. Most of our fundraising events have been postponed or cancelled and our charity shops and bike shops had to close for a period at the start of lockdown. Due to this, were expecting an income loss of at least £200,000. This is vital income, needed to fund our life saving services at this most challenging time.
But, you can change things. By challenging yourself to sleep out for one night at this year's event and raising sponsorship, you'll make an even greater impact to the lives of very vulnerable people who have been frightened, isolated and at-risk during this on-going pandemic.
So, stand up against homelessness. Challenge yourself, friends, family and colleagues to sleep out for one night and help provide the life saving services and support people on the streets so desperately need right now.
We do not charge an entry fee but hope that you will try and raise at least £150 so that we can continue to provide vital support to homeless and marginalised people in and around Exeter and Devon.
