Story

Could you Be a Big House Hero ?

Do you want to help preserve this wonderful house for generations to come ??

If so then read on :

We’re currently looking for individuals and companies to become Big House Heroes – raising funds to support Wentworth Woodhouse Preservation Trust (registered charity number: 1155374).

Last year we were very fortunate to be chosen by the 2022/23 Master Cutler, Dame Julie Ann Kenny DBE DL, as her chosen charity. As part of Dame Julie’s Master Cutler’s Challenge, we worked in partnership with many local businesses and organisations achieving some tremendous results. So much so that we decided to continue these fantastic partnerships with our Big House Heroes to ensure that the wonderful work at Wentworth Woodhouse continues.

“Wentworth Woodhouse is one of the core pillars in South Yorkshire providing community and educational programmes and delivering training in dedicated skills such as entrepreneurship, conservation, heritage, digital and hospitality. It is not only about the building, but supports a wide range of people and communities in low-income households, including ethnic and minority interests and disability groups to help enrich their lives with cultural activities.”
