St Petrock's Big Night Out - 25th April 2025

Our Big Night Out under the stars will raise funds and highlight challenges that those experiencing homelessness may face.
Our Big Night Out under the stars will raise funds and highlight challenges that those experiencing homelessness may face.
There are typically between 25 - 40 people sleeping rough in and around Exeter on any given night - alongside many more experieincing 'hidden homelessness', sofa-surfing, on friends' floors, in emergency accommodation, garages, cars and sheds.
Demand for St Petrock's essential survival & support services is high. Every weekday, our team provide vital welfare checks & home-cooked meals via outreach on the city's streets; our homelessness centre offers washing facilities, clothing, emotional support, specialist housing & welfare advice, on-site health & wellbeing services and much, much more.
None of this would be possible without the support of the local community - and you can help too. To help with our fundraising we're challenging you to take part in St Petrock's Big Night Out.
Invite your family and friends over and camp under the stars in a safe location, such as your garden, shed, local school, workplace, car or bedding down on your sitting room floor.
This event is a million miles away from the physical and mental trauma of being homeless. However, it is a unique chance to raise money for our work and a time to reflect on what it is like to have to sleep rough out of necessity.
When you sign up, you will be sent full details of how to have a fun and safe Big Night Out.
