Story
Help Our Little Legs Take Big Flights!
At DMT Dachshund Rescue, every dachshund we save has a story. Many have been abandoned, neglected, or subjected to horrendous abuse. Some are frail, some are scared, and all of them deserve a second chance.
Sometimes, that second chance means travelling far to reach the perfect forever home. That’s where we need your help. The cost of flights for these tiny heroes is extremely high due to import regulations, but every journey is worth it, a journey to love, safety, and happiness.
This June, we’re taking on a journey of our own! Big Strides for Little Legs 2026 is our fundraising walk, with supporters joining from all over the UK. Whether walking with your dachshund who’s been rescued by DMT DRSG or just supporting our mission, you can help make a real difference.
We are asking for a little support as we take on our mission. Maybe someone you know is taking part, or maybe you just want to help. Your donation will help ensure more dachshunds can get on their freedom flights from South Korea or China to the UK and start their lives filled with love and happiness.
Every pound brings us closer to giving a little dog a big future. Will you help our little legs take their next big stride? Donate today! Because even the tiniest paws deserve to fly.
We also warmly invite you to join our walks:
