Since the Russian invasion of Ukraine, Bible Society teams have been working tirelessly to share Gods message of love, hope and peace to the people across the region. Bibles and other Scripture-based resources are being provided to people who desperately need them, alongside humanitarian aid and pastoral care. Anatoliy, based in Ukraine, says, We are sharing living bread and physical bread. Due to the work they have been doing, the Bible Society team in Kyiv are being called The Angels of Kyiv by locals. Anatoliy added, The Angels of Kyiv need the protection of heavenly angels. Whilst out distributing Bibles and aid, Anatoliys car was hit by a bullet.
