Birch Community Centre is a former Parish Hall, situated in an urban oasis of the leafy Brighton Grove M14, three miles from Manchester City Centre. We receive no core funding. We rely on donations and private hires, to enable community and voluntary groups to offer regular events for all.

Story

Over 14,000 people enjoy the use of Birch Community Centre every year, including specifically those requiring a flat level accessible space and facilities.

The boiler, over 30 years old, has broken and must be replaced.

URGENT: A new boiler cost is almost £15,000 (inc. VAT)*.

Keeping the building warm is a basic requirement of the centre.

We do not receive any core funding.

Any amount is appreciated and we are very grateful for any support.

*The fundraising target is set at appx. 50% of the overall cost of the boiler. This fundraiser will remain open to allow time to reach the target, for the benefit of the communities we serve.
