Feathers Together: North East England Parrot Sanctuary & Bird Gardens.

A space for rescued parrots and exotic birds to recover and have long-term sanctuary. It creates an opportunity for everyone to learn about these fascinating birds and how to care for them.

We are raising funds for the purchase of land and buildings to create a centre for rescued parrots and other exotic birds.

This will incorporate:

- indoor and outdoor aviaries

- a bird adoption centre

- education hub

- community meeting space

- specialist avian veterinary practice

- coffee shop

Once fully established, the project will be self-funding. The profits from an on-site bird supplies shop and gift shop will be used to support the birds and safeguard their future.
