The Friends of Blairs Loch volunteers have done an amazing amount of work since the project began in 2018 but there efforts have been very dependent upon weather conditions. With no covered workshop area available they have done most of the work in the car park in front of the boathouse, but only when the weather has been dry.

This project will create a covered workspace for the volunteers to work in on the important maintenance and improvement projects that are needed.

It will also create a great space for a new Green Wood carpentry workshop. The traditional craft of green wood carpentry uses natural undried wood to create beautiful projects. This additional facility will enhance what has become a wonderful community centre for recreational and educational activities.
