Our charity provides services, support and advice to people of all ages who have sight or hearing loss. We enable people to live as independently as possible for as long as possible so that losing your sight or your hearing doesn't have to be about loss of freedom and increased isolation.

Story

Would you dare ride a dragster motorbike at 100mph?

Would you still dare to if you were blind?

Wilberforce Trust Ambassador, Nigel Limb, will be doing just that at the Melbourne Raceway to raise sponsorship for our mobile outreach on 6 September at 10.30am

Nigel is a rebel with a cause. Hes determined to show that losing his sight in a motorcycle racing accident in 2015, has not prevented him from living life to the full. Hes also determined to show that people with sight loss can achieve amazing things and his never say die mentality means he is relishing this opportunity.

Nigel will be riding a hand-built Suzuki EFE 1229cc dragster bike at the behest of owner Stephen Sharpe, who is terminally ill.

Please sponsor Nigel as he attempts this daredevil feat of skill and courage.
