During my Sabbatical I am attempting the Thames Ring on my 50ft narrowboat. Starting and finishing at Pyrford Marina in Surrey, I will travel to Northamptonshire and back via the River Wey, River Thames, Grand Union Canal and Oxford Canal … that’s 243 miles and 180 locks!
