Story
Cycling for Local Cancer Care
This June, cyclists from the Bobby and Friends Trust and Clwb Beicio Cefneithin will take on an incredible challenge — cycling more than 110 miles from Cefneithin to Bristol across two demanding days.
The ride will pass through Neath, Bridgend, Cardiff, Newport and Chepstow before reaching Bristol, taking on steep climbs, difficult terrain and long hours in the saddle along the way.
Raising Money for an Important Cause
This year’s challenge is raising funds for the Bowel Cancer Units at Glangwili Hospital and Prince Philip Hospital.
The work carried out by these units is incredibly important to so many families across our communities. The money raised will help support the fantastic care, treatment and support provided to patients facing bowel cancer.
“Every mile ridden is to support the incredible work carried out by these hospital teams every single day.”
Community Coming Together
For more than 21 years, these charity cycle rides have brought people together to support local causes and make a genuine difference within the community.
Every donation, sponsorship and message of support helps motivate the team as they prepare to take on this challenge and raise as much money as possible for these vital services.
