A percentage of each entry into the Bolsover 10k race will be donated to the Trust, who would like to thank North Derbyshire Running Club for their continued support.
Speaking on the challenge, Oli said: “I’m really looking forward to it. I did it last year, it’s a fantastic event. North Derbyshire Running Club do a lot of work with us and help us out. It’s really good for us to help them out and them help us out. They’ve gifted the places to the Trust to help raise money for us.
“I think for anyone who’s looking to get into running, it’s a really good 10k group to do,” Oli added. “It doesn’t matter what time you get, it’s all about having a go. I’m a below-knee amputee and I got my personal best on it last year, which is fantastic.”
Oli also commented on the support that the Trust receive from North Derbyshire Running Club as a whole, saying: “It’s brilliant, because obviously we run a lot of programmes and a lot of those programmes need funding and those guys raise money for us which just helps us to help more people in our community.”
Finally, Oli urged others to get involved in the race, which is taking place in December. “There’s still spaces, so get your name on the list and hopefully see you there.”
