From the 10th-12th September 2021, a team of Bookmark trekkers will tackle the UK's three toughest peaks to help as many children as possible build the skills they need to succeed. We'll be one of the first hikers of the day to take on Ben Nevis, before tackling Scafell Pike by night. Our final triumph will be Snowdon, aiming to complete the challenge within 24 hours.

The journey will see challengers covering 26 miles and almost 3,000m of ascent. This fast paced and physically demanding event will require a huge dose of grit and determination. Every trekker will be motivated by your support, so please do dig deep and donate what you can to help change a child's story.

It is a shocking statistic that even in a normal year, an average of eight children in a class leave primary school unable to read well. These children often struggle for the rest of their lives. Poor literacy can lead to limited job prospects, poor health, low self-esteem, and reduced life expectancy.
