Story
Boroughs United was created to bring young people together across London’s boroughs not in competition, but in unity. At a time when communities are often divided, this project centres creativity, connection and peace.
Each year, over 1,000 young performers aged 6–21 take to the stage to share their voices through music, dance and spoken word, representing the richness of London’s cultures, stories and identities.
“Boroughs United shows young people that their voice matters — and that they are stronger together.”
More Than a Performance
For many of our young performers, Boroughs United is their first time on a professional stage. It’s a moment of confidence, pride and belonging, supported by families, friends, schools and communities.
This is not just a show. It’s a safe space. It’s a celebration of possibility.
“Being on that stage made me believe I could do anything.”
— Young performer, Boroughs United
