We are delighted to announce the return of the Lydgate Infant School Association ‘Bounce for Books 2025’.

On Friday 7th March in celebration of World Book Day the children will be raising money to replenish the books in the school library and provide other resources for school. This year the Lydgate Infant School Association has already provided four Yoto players and cards, a reading chair for the library and improvements to the wildlife garden.

There will be a bouncy castle and each child will have the chance to jump as many times as they can in one minute.

This is a really fun event which the children enjoy. The children will be awarded a certificate recording how many bounces they have achieved. This is a sponsored event so we ask that each child collects sponsor money from family and friends in recognition of their bounces.

Sponsorship is voluntary and all children with the appropriate consent will be able to take part however all donations are very gratefully received.
