In 2022 it was decided that the 150 year old clubhouse which has been slowly sinking over the years had reached the point where a new clubhouse would have to be built.

In September 2023 a local architect was engaged to do the design and in 2024 a planning application was approved by the local authority. A builder has been selected and the project will commence on the 1 October 2025.
