Because, everyone needs a place to feel at home, a team from Exeter have set themselves a challenge to take on the mountains and fjords of Norway.

Between the 1-4 July, the team will be kayaking, climbing and trekking to raise money, all whilst wild camping along the way.

The challenge includes, an 11 hour trek 1530m up a mountain, 2x 12km kayak journeys along the fjords and cooking their dinners around the camp every night.

The B&Q Foundation awards grants to charities to improve spaces for people in need across the UK. From improving accommodation for people with no home of their own, to creating community gardens – the Foundation are making a difference to those who don’t have access to what most of us take for granted.
