The campaign has now expired but it's not too late to support this charity.
Visit the charity's profileBrain tumours kill more children and adults under the age of 40 than any other cancer.
16,000 people are diagnosed annually in the UK with a brain tumour, yet only !% of the national spend on cancer research has been allocated to Brain Tumours.
Please help us support the Lions national initiative to raise funds for Brain Tumour Research. To put our target in context, the cost of 1 day's research at one of the Brain Tumour Research Centres is £2,740. We'd be delighted to cover far more than just one day's costs.
We've now completed the 6,500 mile challenge well ahead of the 100 day target, by walking locally whilst meeting the all the rules that apply in the pandemic. See our Facebook page and website for images captured on our virtual walk.
75% of all donations will go to Brain Tumour Research, with 25% to the Southwell Lions Charity account which are used to help our community.
We would welcome any donation to support Brain Tumour Research.
