JINNY has very kindly and bravely volunteered to have her head shaved for her birthday on 31st of May in order to raise money. for AMICII.

This Is Jinny's story:

I had to take early retirement due to illness and my constant companion was my rescue Rotty x Staffy Bear. He was with me for 12 years and he gave me so much love and hope.

When he died in 2016 I was completely heartbroken but I wanted to re-home another rescue from my local shelter and found a lurcher called Jimmy.

I wanted to do something to help rescue dogs as they clearly are the best dogs in the world. I started fundraising through Facebook and local events.

I noticed there were so many rescue groups needing help it was heartbreaking.

In 2017 one particular video that lead me to AMICII and the incredible work they do both in the UK and in Romania. I cried when I saw the post and the dire situation of the abused dogs in Romania. I realised they were in more danger than the rescue dogs in the UK.

I promised to try and help raise funds and so this is the latest fundraiser. It's my birthday on 31st of May so why not shave my hair off for the doggies.

Any money raised will be split between AMICII UK and AMICII Romania.
