Breaking Boundaries launched in 2020 and was created out of a desire of three things: spreading the word about better mental health for all, celebrating Lancashire and encouraging people to get active during lockdown whilst raising a few quid.
Fast forward 12 months and its back.
Now more so than ever, Lancashire Mind needs your help to help ensure that people in Lancashire feel able to talk about their mental health, ask for help when they need it and know where to access the support they need to.
That's why we are Breaking Boundaries once more by covering the palatine boundary of Lancashire.
Last year we challenged our supporters to travel the boundary once - 417 miles. This year we want to cover the boundary four times - because everyone has mental health and as a charity we are here for the 4 in 4 as well as the 1 in 4 who live with a mental health condition.
We are doing this for everyone as every one in Lancashire deserves to have good mental health.
Starting at the beginning of Mental Health Awareness Week, Monday 10th May, we are travelling an incredible, collective 1668 miles and we have until Saturday 22nd May to achieve our goal.
You can show your support for our Boundary Breakers, and better mental health for people in Lancashire, by donating right here on this page. Every donation will help us move closer to our fundraising goal and ultimately increase the work we can do to support others.
As Lancashire's local mental health and wellbeing charity, all money donated will go directly to Lancashire Mind and helping us to achieve our vision of mental wellbeing for all. We're working towards a Lancashire where: we can all achieve good mental health and wellbeing, people living with a mental health condition get the right support when needed and we don't treat people differently because of their mental health.
