The aim of the Breast Centre Appeal is to raise funds to improve the existing service, above and beyond what can be provided by relying on NHS funding alone. The money raised will not replace Government funding; instead, it will be used to enhance the service by providing additional services - things like 3D mammography, Liposuction and fat transfer equipment, staff training and physiotherapy in The Breast Centre's very own gym. Funds from our Breast Centre Appeal have also more recently funded the purchase of an iPad and 75 inch Interactive Screen with built in PC which is now situated in the Breast Centre Gym. This has enabled our Senior Physiotherapist to hold high definition virtual exercise classes streamed live to patients homes offering technology which can now be used long term. This is one positive legacy from our new ways of working which will allow access to any of our patients who are unable to leave their homes for whatever reason.

The appeal hopes to raise the sum of £1million over the next five years. Every donation, however large or small, will contribute towards our target of providing the very best in Breast care, here in Wales.
