Bright Red, a charity established to improve the lives and treatment of people in the North who are dealing with Blood Cancer. Through care, research and education we are striving to beat illnesses such as leukaemia, lymphoma and myeloma.

Story

Our first specialist nurse we fully funded was for NCCC Freeman Hospital seven years ago, since then we have funded a specialist nurse at Sunderland Royal Hospital, North Tyneside and Wansbeck Hospitals, Frairage Hospital and Queen Elizabeth Hospital Gateshead.

With over 150 types of blood cancer the knowledge and understanding the specialist nurses provide is phenomenal.

We are very proud to be able to fund the nurses and we wish to continue funding more in the coming years.
