Lobular breast cancer is the second most common form of breast cancer. ‘Lobular’ has a unique growth pattern and disease course, and is classed as a special type of breast cancer. However, despite its special features, lobular is not treated in a special way. Our team is working to better understand lobular breast cancer and to develop new ways to monitor disease recurrence and predict prognosis specifically for people living with lobular.
