Challenge

People are hungry and food is going to waste daily. People are lonely and there's a huge community of lonely people who are separated by having no where to meet. Children have bad diets suffering from a lack of availability of food and the knowledge to cook or eat well. Families don't cook or eat together. Busy and poorer families don't have the time or money to eat out together. But we have a solution

Solution

We save food from hitting the bins and redistribute to those in need. We bring together lonely people so they aren't lonely anymore. We teach young people and children healthy eating habits and cook with them. We bring these things into the community on our mobile kitchen so its right on their doorstep.

Long-Term Impact

Young people learn about fruit and veg and discover new tastes. They take what they have learned, the fruit and veg and try it out for themselves at home. We are building a community of people who can share and learn together far past our meals. Food is saved from landfill and delivered into hungry mouths and bellies. We cook with and for around 70 people a week and with continued funding we'll have building to cook everyday.
