Get Brodie Walking

Fundraising for Therapies, Equipment and Home Adaptations
We are fundraising for our brave little Brodie Llew, who at 20 months old has been diagnosed with hemiplegia (possibly quadriplegic) cerebral palsy and dystonia. This will help him access ground-breaking therapy and fund equipment to ease his daily pain.
Brodie is the most handsome, funny, and calm little boy you could ever meet. He is so brave; we are told he is often in pain, but he just keeps smiling and melts the heart of everyone he meets.
Brodie has been through so much since the day he was born. He can’t walk more than a couple of steps but tries his best to do so. It’s heartbreaking to see him fall, but he just keeps getting back up! He is such a determined little boy.
We would love to initially get Brodie some equipment for home to help ease his chronic pain and make daily life more comfortable for him, as well as some supporting tools to help him walk.
The absolute dream would be the opportunity to travel to Mexico for potentially life-changing treatment, which has been clinically trialed and approved by the national health agency in Mexico.
Here are some of the things the funds raised will go toward to support Brodie:
Physio sessions at £7,000 per year (2x per week)
A specialist chair: £1,000
Specialist bed: £3,345
Specialist pushchair: £500
Hydrotherapy/swim tub: £10,000
£50,000 for 28-day neuro treatment in Mexico
Home adaptations to enable Brodie to access upstairs and get into our home without difficulty
We are incredibly grateful for any contribution, which will really help change our little hero’s life
Please remember to select Gift Aid with your donation—it won’t cost you any more but will provide Brodie with an additional 25% on top of your donation.
7.5% of all donations to Tree of Hope in relation to this appeal will be allocated to the general charitable purposes of Tree of Hope to cover our core operating costs.
