Please support the Bronte Parsonage Museum!

Organised by The Bronte Society

This is an ongoing campaign for those who wish to make a general donation to support the Bronte Parsonage Museum. All funds will help us in our work to preserve our world-class collection and share it with our visitors and audiences.

Set up in 1893, the Brontë Society today looks after the Brontë Parsonage Museum in Haworth, Yorkshire. Our mission is to 'bring the Brontës to the world and the world to Yorkshire' and we use our collections, exhibitions and events to share the legacy of this extraordinary literary family.

Story

The Bronte Parsonage Museum in Haworth is the former home of the world-famous Bronte family and the place where 'Jane Eyre', 'Wuthering Heights' and 'Agnes Grey' were written.

The Museum is owned by the Bronte Society and houses the world's largest collection of Bronte manuscripts, artefacts, furniture and personal possessions. It is supported by Arts Council England but also relies on income from admissions, membership subscriptions and donations.

Donations to this campaign will be put towards the costs of running the Museum.
