Help Support the Stage Design & Production Department at Baltimore School for the Arts
Our Stage Design & Production department plays a crucial role in bringing our student productions to life, providing hands-on experience in areas like set design, lighting, costume design, and more. To continue delivering high-quality education and ensure the success of our productions, we need your support.
We are seeking to raise $15,000 to cover the costs associated with hiring part-time production managers. These invaluable positions are essential in ensuring that the teacher-to-student ratio remains small on production calls, allowing for more personalized, in-depth instruction. Production managers work outside of school hours and provide critical assistance to the department head, helping to manage the logistics of each production.
Additionally, production managers bring specialized skills to the team—skills like digital design, 3D object creation, lighting, and repairs—giving students the opportunity to learn advanced techniques that enhance their education and future careers in the industry.
Anyone who gives $100 or more will receive a BSA Alumni T-Shirt ($15 value). Someone from the Foundations team will follow-up to collect sizing information. T-shirts available in unisex sizes Small - 4XL.

We hope you will consider supporting this important initiative to ensure the our Stage Design and Production students have access to the support and expertise needed to elevate their experience. If you have any questions, please contact Meredith Rosenblatt at mrosenblatt@bsfa.org.
Thank you for your support!
